Northrop Grumman is seeking Top Secret cleared Cyber Systems Security Engineers to support National Security Space missions
. This role spans Ground, Communications, and Space Segments
, contributing to the secure design, implementation, and sustainment of some of the most critical systems protecting the nation.

You will work within integrated product teams (IPTs), collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines to architect and implement cybersecurity, cyber resilience, and cyber survivability solutions for complex space systems.

This is an on-site only role due to the classified nature of the work. Start date is contingent upon TS clearance transfer
.

• Architect, implement, and verify RMF cybersecurity requirements for satellite systems, communication links, and ground command & control (C2) systems
• Decompose system-level security requirements into technical controls across system segments and components
• Perform Attack Surface Analysis (ASA) and develop:
• Systems Security Plans (SSP)
• Security Control Traceability Matrices (SCTM)
• POA&Ms and assessment procedures
• Support platform hardening
  , including Anti-Tamper, TEMPEST, cryptographic components, and secure integration
• Implement and maintain COTS security solutions (firewalls, SIEM, antivirus, MFA, etc.)
• Support space vehicle hardening
  , embedded processors, and flight software security
• Conduct vulnerability scanning, remediation, and patching (Windows & Red Hat)
• Support Cyber Test & Evaluation and customer-facing security milestones
• Operate in an Agile engineering environment
  , assisting with SCA findings and backlog prioritization
• Securely deploy mission-unique software in cloud and virtualized environments
• Develop SOPs and support continuous monitoring (Con Mon)

• BS in Engineering (Electrical or Software preferred) with 2+ years of experience
• (Experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
• 2+ years of Cyber / Systems Security Engineering experience
  , preferably in defense or aerospace
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI and
• Hands-on experience with:
• DISA STIG implementation and documentation
• ACAS / Tenable Nessus vulnerability scanning
• RMF from categorization through continuous monitoring
• Strong technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills

• BS or MS in Electrical, Software, Systems, or Aerospace Engineering
• CISSP-ISSEP or CISSP-ISSAP
• 7+ years of IA / cybersecurity experience (3+ within SAP environments)
