Our growing Product Team is looking for a Lead QA Automation Engineer. You will be responsible for providing enterprise grade technical solutions to our quality engineering team as well as working with individual project teams to help implement, maintain and innovate our technical testing strategies. You will provide your technical advice and assistance on test tools, technologies, strategies, and design – with an emphasis on test automation, performance testing, and functional security.

What

You’ll Do
  • Lead QA efforts toward successful project delivery, including overseeing manual and automation test strategy, plans, and processes across access points and scrum teams
  • Define and evolve comprehensive automation, regression, performance, and release testing strategies within our Agile SDLC
  • Architect, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web applications, APIs (REST/Web Hooks), and database layers
  • Write and review high-quality automated test scripts and ensure seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop and execute automated API, UI, integration, regression, and performance test suites to ensure product reliability and scalability
  • Own and prioritize the QA backlog, including automation coverage, technical debt, and infrastructure testing initiatives
  • Serve as the point of escalation for QA matters, managing risk, prioritizing coverage, and ensuring release readiness
  • Troubleshoot complex defects by analyzing logs, database traces, and system behavior; drive root cause analysis and long-term quality improvements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, QA, and Leadership to define acceptance criteria, quality standards, and test requirements
  • Champion quality engineering best practices, testability, and maintainable code design
  • Mentor and develop QA Engineers through hands-on guidance of automation frameworks, tools, and testing methodologies
  • Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and building a high-performing QA practice that scales with our organization
Who You Are
  • 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering in B2B SaaS
  • 3+ years of test automation experience (e.g., Katalon, Playwright, Selenium)
  • Depth of experience as a practitioner writing test cases and enabling automation strategies
  • Strong understanding of test methodologies, test case coverage analysis and effective hardening and exploration strategies
  • Experience with performance testing (e.g., Jmeter, NeLoad, Load Runner)
  • Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, Python, Smart Bear)
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities, with ability to pair analysis and efficiency in your approach and solutions
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science
Your Differentiators
  • Experience leading or mentoring Quality Engineers
  • Prior experience with AI-enabled QA technologies preferred
Your First 90 Days

In your First 30 Days, you will engage in our immersive onboarding experience, enabling you to understand and acclimate to our culture, product, and technology stack. As your knowledge of our team and how it operates grows, so will your impact and influence.

In your First 60 Days, you will define and execute comprehensive QA test plans as well as perform exploratory testing on our product. You will contribute to an efficient and effective SDLC. Your efforts will continuously improve how you lead Quality Engineering and support your Scrum teams.

In Your First 90 Days, you will have gained a comprehensive understanding of our product offering and will have markedly contributed to our testing strategy, informing our future deliveries.

The salary range for this opportunity is $130,300 - $140,036 per year. You will be eligible for discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time.
