Project Manager / Release Train Engineer (Agile Delivery Lead)
Location: 100% Remote
Employment Type: Contract
Requirement: Must be a US Citizen due to the nature of the role
I’m supporting a client looking for a Project Manager / Release Train Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience working in project management, Agile delivery, or similar IT delivery roles. This position supports multiple IT service delivery teams and blends project coordination, Agile support, work intake management, and helping teams stay aligned so projects move forward on time.
What You Will Do- Coordinate work across several service delivery teams to support effective planning and delivery
- Partner with the Portfolio Manager on prioritization and planning
- Work with IT leadership to help resolve prioritization issues
- Keep the demand management system updated with accurate start and end dates
- Collaborate with business analysts to collect project benefits and related information
- Improve project execution using best practices
- Help limit work in progress to improve team efficiency
- Drive progress toward business value
- Work with project teams and people managers to plan and organize project work
- Communicate project updates, progress, and issues to stakeholders and leadership
- Build Jira project plans and schedules for IT integration work
- Create final project documentation with a summary of work completed and recommendations
- Experience coordinating work across multiple IT service delivery teams
- Experience with project planning, prioritization, and cross‑team alignment
- Understanding of Agile project management practices
- Ability to build and maintain project plans, schedules, and reports
- Proficiency with Jira or similar project management tools
- Ability to maintain accurate project data and documentation
- Strong communication skills for updates and escalations
- Background working with demand management or portfolio management tools
- Problem solving and issue resolution
- Ownership and accountability
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
