Job Description

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. 10+ years’ experience required.
• 8-10 years of experience in administering Jira and Confluence both from front end and back end.
• Expert level Atlassian tool administration knowledge on JIRA, Jira Service Desk and Confluence and all their features. End-to-End Installing and Configuration of the applications in Linux Environment ( Front End and Back End ) Enabling SSO and Security Configurations – SSL, Certs installation, Session Configurations, SSO. Expert in building Automations and Scripting in Jira and Confluence platform.
• Proven expertise in triaging and fixing Performance issues on Jira and Confluence.
• Proven expertise in building Resilient Systems. Formulating technical solutions by using JIRA, Confluence features and Associated plugins. Proven experience in Cloud Migrations ( AWS, SAAS) Expert knowledge on Atlassian REST APIs ( Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Desk). Experience in building Integrations for Jira and Confluence with external applications. Understanding of Agile Concepts - Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile (preferable ) Hands-on in using the tools from a user perspective - using projects, boards, issues, issue types, jqls, sprints, reports, spaces, pages, gadgets.
  
  Hands-on with Jira Service Management and Administration.
• Hands-on with using Metrics and Reporting capabilities – Out of the box and plugins.
• Strong troubleshooting skills on these platforms. Integrating Jira and Confluence with other tools. Technical skill sets include Solid experience in Jira and Confluence Architecture and underlying tech stack. Jira and Confluence – Admin and System Admin functionalities. Scripting language – Groovy (preferable), Python. Atlassian Plugin SDK and Plugin architecture. Java Tech Stack (all latest versions ) - Core Java, J2EE, Tomcat, JSP, JavaScript, Maven, Spring Technologies.
  
  OS:
  Linux, Shell, Shell scripting and shell commands and Hands-on with JQL and CQLs.

• Hands-on using plugins:
  Script Runner, Portfolio, Comala, Refined, JMW, JSU, EazyBI, Dynamic forms, Elements Connect, Xray.
• Hands-on working on migrating on prem / Data center tools / applications to AWS.
• Hands-on experience working in AWS – Services.: AWS EC2 Storage : S3, RDS , EBS and related services Networking : ALB, VPC, G/W related services Monitoring :
  Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, SPLUNK Automation, Lambda, Python or any similar scripting knowledge, Configurations :
  Cloud Formations, Config, , Auto Scaling, Service catalog, management services, CLI, CLI
• Experience working with Dev Ops tools specifically with pipeline tools, Gitlab, Jenkins, bitbucket, UCD
• Working experience with Dev Ops or Agile processes, Automations via scripting.
• Development of solutions extending Atlassian REST services and JIRA/Confluence plugins using the Atlassian SDK.
• Other AWS services, AWS ECS Fargate, Trusted Advisor (knowledge), Well Architect (knowledge), Organization (knowledge),
• Knowledge/Experience – working in Mural, Miro, ,IBM Rational DOORs Next Gen, Jama software.
