Job DescriptionOnly qualified Business Analyst candidates located in the Henrico, VA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence.
Required Skills- Knowledge of COTS applications and platforms (4 Years)
- Knowledge of SaaS applications and platforms (2 Years)
- Extensive experience in business analysis, requirements documentation, system development life cycle, and agile application development (4 Years)
- Extensive experience defining and documenting user requirements from multiple sources, able to prepare complex documents (8 Years)
- Extensive experience defining and documenting business processes and mapping or developing processes in a new system (8 Years)
- Experience conducting meetings and documenting project decisions (8 Years)
- Ability to participate in a project team, foster a team environment, and communicate effectively orally and in writing (8 Years)
- Experience with COTS applications and migrating to a low‑code SaaS application
- Experience/knowledge with the VITA Procurement process or similar experience
- General knowledge of VITA and governance of agencies such as DHP
- Experience/knowledge of professional licensure such as medical licenses
- Conduct project initiation activities to identify current and future state requirements
- Work with business and Information Systems staff to determine needs and produce a Requirements Definition document that clearly defines requirements within the established timeframe
- Ensure documented requirements are clear, concise, complete, and meet agency guidelines and standards
- Assist with development of applicable processes and templates as needed to ensure documentation is standard, easy‑to‑use, and repeatable
- Assist the procurement team in translating requirements to be incorporated into a Statement of Work (SOW)
