Responsibilities

• Drives the proposal process and is proactive to meet milestones.
• Develops accurate and compelling technical, IT-focused proposal content (technical approach, management approach, past performance, and executive summary) in an iterative writing process. Ensures agreed-upon elements are incorporated into a cohesive and persuasive format.
• Edits proposal content for effectiveness (clarity, readability, accuracy, persuasiveness, and compliance) as well as style (grammar, punctuation, word usage, sentence structure, and spelling).
• Interviews SMEs to extract highly technical information and convert into effective proposal content per solicitation requirements.
• Analyzes solicitations to develop detailed, annotated proposal templates.
• Leads proposal kickoffs and color team reviews, working sessions with SMEs, executives, teaming partners, authors, and other contributors to develop storyboards, solutions, and graphics.
• Composes team-wide strategic communications that are clear and concise, administers SharePoint pursuit sites, manages document version control, and coordinates review/recovery cycles.

• Must have a BS/BA in a relevant degree field from an accredited institution; or a combination of education, training, and experience.
• 5+ years of technical proposal writing and proposal management/coordination experience within the IT, software development, management consulting, and/or relevant industry and topics (ITIL, PMBOK, SDLC, Scrum, Agile development, cloud, and Dev Sec Ops ).
• APMP certifications highly desired.

• Understanding of Federal Government contracting and proposal processes. Understanding of the Shipley methodology.
