As a Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS) supporting the GE Healthcare imaging applications team, you will provide clinical, technical, and operational expertise by delivering adult education and training for the PET modality. Your role is to enhance the customer experience by guiding the Customer Learning Journey and applying your PET subject‑matter expertise to level up customer education on GE Healthcare PET/CT equipment.
Roles and Responsibilities- Develop product, clinical, and software knowledge within the PET modality.
- Translate theoretical knowledge into practical clinical knowledge, enabling clinicians to achieve optimal performance from GE Healthcare equipment.
- Provide pre‑sale product clinical evaluations and educational sessions to potential customers. In partnership with customers, develop and administer clinical training aligned with the Sales Order Agreement (SOA) to achieve high Net Promoter Scores.
- Collaborate with sales, project management, and service teams to coordinate customer training in an integrated account‑management approach.
- Drive revenue realization by executing on‑site or remote clinical education delivery and produce comprehensive, timely documentation before and after training.
- Provide ongoing post‑installation training and support throughout the product lifecycle.
- Maintain customer relationships through proactive communication and report product or customer concerns to relevant teams (Management, Field Sales, Marketing, Customer Loyalty, Technical Support).
- Work with associated teams to create, manage, coordinate, and deliver training to internal and external partners, serving as content developer, trainer, and registrar.
- Develop in‑depth clinical and technical discipline knowledge and use it to execute training policy and strategy.
- Apply judgement to propose solutions beyond set parameters under guidance, using technical skills and analytic thinking to solve problems.
- Act as an individual contributor or early people leader, providing informal guidance to new team members.
- Minimum 3 years of imaging experience with at least 3 years of PET modality experience.
- ARRT or equivalent PET modality certification.
- Comfortable working in a clinical/patient environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively (90+% of time, 4–5 days per week, including overnight and some weekend travel across the U.S. and Canada).
- Proficient use of Windows Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, plus other computer and web‑based tools.
- Ability to learn specialized industry software and provide digital education and training solutions.
- Required to register with one or more vendor credentialing services; must provide proof of immunization (MMR, hepatitis) and comply with drug testing/screening.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to analyze and resolve problems, document plans, market, and execute programs.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or high‑school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of relevant experience).
- 10+ years clinical experience.
- 5+ years experience with GE PET/CT modality.
- Strong verbal communication; ability to explain complex content simply.
- Effective teaching and presentation skills.
- Organizational skills, ability to multi‑task and make independent decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
