Overview
Tamayo Federal Solutions, LLC is seeking a qualified Systems Administrator II
. This position will be expected to be familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently performs a wide variety of complicated tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. May lead and direct the work of others.
Organizes and directs the configuration and operation of information management systems. Responsible for directing the work of other system administrators to provide day-to-day system administration including system and resource optimization and user assistance. Conducts capacity and performance analysis, and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations. Increases system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develops system administration procedures, and conducts system administrator training and skills assessment.
- Lead and direct the work of others in system administration duties.
- Organize and direct the configuration and operation of information management systems.
- Provide day-to-day system administration including system and resource optimization and user assistance.
- Conduct capacity and performance analysis and recommend configuration changes and upgrades.
- Increase efficiency and accuracy through automation tools and scripts.
- Develop system administration procedures and conduct training and skills assessment.
- Consult on complex projects as needed.
- Systems Administrator II – At least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Ability to acquire/maintain a DOD Issued Security Clearance.
