Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) provides broad support access across all HR functions, with a seasonal focus on Talent Acquisition, Benefit Administration, Compliance Reporting, while providing consistent Employee and Management Support. Has the ability to act in place of the Director of Human Resources when needed.
** This is an On-Site Role **
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Assist and support management and the leadership team with addressing and resolving Human Resources issues; escalates issues to HR and/or Property Leadership as necessary.
- Monitor and assist managers/supervisors with hiring processes and issues.
- Monitor hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and company policies and standards.
- Create and maintain new hire and personnel records in the Human Resources Information Systems and/or digital employee records.
- Conducts New Hire Onboarding and Orientation processes, ensuring that new employees receive adequate information and training.
- Monitors new hire, life event, and annual Benefit Eligibility and administers enrollment processes, including employee communications, assistance & support, invoice reconciliation, and audits.
- Assist in reporting and documenting worker’s compensation incidents and claims.
- Tracks and processes team member leaves and accommodations (ie: FMLA, Personal LOA, ADA, etc).
- Support processing and maintenance of payroll records in accordance with policies and procedures, as necessary.
- Generate Human Resources data reports as necessary.
- Serve as Human Resources subject matter expert and participate on project teams.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

Qualifications
Provide a list of the qualifications that are necessary for someone to fill this position:
- 4+ Years of experience in Human Resources.
- SHRM or HRCI Certification Preferred
- Associate degree in Human Resources, business management, or related area of study, or equivalent training or certification.
- Hospitality experience preferred.
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly, both verbal and written, to individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of employment laws, regulatory guidance, HR compliance and wage and hour laws.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure, and to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and effectively.
Physical Requirements
- Work Environment:
Primarily Indoor Office Environment, indoor and outdoor hotel/property navigation. - Equipment Used:
Computer, Phone, Printers/Scanners, and other office equipment. - Standing 10%
