Shared Services Advisor

Overview

Shared Services Advisor (HRSSC Tier 1 Support) —

Location:

Vienna, VA or Winchester, VA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite).
Pay (W2): Vienna: $20–$25/hr;

Experience:

3–7 years.

• Handle inbound employee calls (up to 5 hours/day) related to HR programs and services.
• Resolve Tier 1 HR inquiries or route appropriately when escalation is needed.
• Process and review HR personnel transactions accurately.
• Interpret HR policies, procedures, and basic employment issues.
• Ensure compliance with HR standards, policies, and SLAs.
• Perform quality control checks and support process improvement initiatives.
• Conduct research and provide findings to senior staff or leadership.
• Maintain strong customer service and stakeholder communication.

• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Experience working independently with sound judgment and initiative.
• Background in HR, Shared Services, or related operational support roles.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with databases and presentation tools.

• Call center experience.
• Exposure to Human Capital Management (HCM) systems.
• Familiarity with Navy Federal products, services, and HR processes.
