*** Riverside is currently seeking a Full time Advanced Practice Provider to join our Hospitalist team at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester, Virgina
*
* Key Responsibilities:

*** Provide direct inpatient care in collaboration with Hospitalist physicians.
* Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations.
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs.
* Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
* Perform procedures as credentialed and trained (e.g., central lines, intubation, etc.).
* Participate in daily rounds, care coordination, and discharge planning.
* Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the EMR.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
* Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

* Qualifications:

* Education:

**  + Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.  + Current board certification as an NP or PA.
* ** Licensure:**  + Active and unrestricted license to practice as an NP or PA in the
** Commonwealth of Virginia**.  + DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Virginia.
* *
* Experience:

**  + Prior inpatient or hospitalist experience preferred but not required.  + New graduates with strong clinical rotations in acute care are encouraged to apply.
* *
* Skills:

**  + Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.  + Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.  + Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
