Responsible for development, facilitation, and coordination of training programs for the Medical Assistant clinic operations staff. This role partners closely with market leadership to manage, coordinate and evaluate the facilitation of staff onboarding, culture orientation, and delivery of training projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver new clinical team member training and coordinate clinical shadow shifts.
  • Track and manage training evaluation processes via knowledge assessments, training performance evaluations, constructive feedback, and reaction surveys.
  • Facilitate and lead GoHealth Culture Orientation for the market, coordinating with market leaders as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain operational and educational resources including workflows, bulletins and the use of SharePoint resources.
  • Facilitate yearly clinical competency assessments and conduct follow-up training as necessary.
  • Facilitate training for new operational implementations and/or workflows within the market.
  • Partner with the Lead Training Specialist and People Learning Team for learning projects across the organization.
  • Supervise Training Coach/Learning Coach training schedule, verify and validate their level of competency; perform learning coach interviews and workshops as needed.
  • Travel as required (see travel note in Essential Functions).
  • Qualifications
    • Education:

      High School Diploma required. Graduate from an accredited clinical program (e.g., Medical Assistant, Nursing).
    • Work Experience:

      3+ years in a clinical staff role (e.g., Medical Assistant, LPN, RN, Paramedic, EMT); training, learning development or related experience; supervisory experience preferred; experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR); urgent care experience preferred.
    • Licenses/Certifications:

      MA Certification (AAMA, NCCT, CMA, RMA), National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT/Paramedic), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or higher (RN).
    • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

      Proficient in medical terminology; clinical skills in Point of Care Testing, vital signs, and clinical laboratory procedures; proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong supervisory, verbal and written communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
    • Additional Knowledge:
      Proficiency in EMRs (e.g., EPIC, eClinical

      Works) preferred.
