About the Position
Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aids and Certified Nursing Assistants to service our clients in the Richmond area. We provide non‑skilled in‑home care focused on keeping clients happy, healthy, and at home.
Core Responsibilities- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Prepare meals and provide light housekeeping support.
- Help clients with mobility and transfer assistance.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report changes to supervising staff.
- Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Certification of Completion from an approved 40‑hour PCA class.
- CNA license, if applicable.
- PPD/TB test or Chest X‑ray (less than 5 years).
- First Aid/CPR card.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. (Social Security Card, Passport, Driver’s License, Birth Certificate, etc.).
