Advanced Practitioner for Same Day Acute GP Clinics (Halifax)

Location: Halifax
Clinic Times: 09:30 – 17:30
Hourly Pay: £44.72

Duration: Block booking available until the end of March
Requirement: Independent Prescriber

We are looking for an experienced ACP, ANP and Advanced Paramedic to join a well‑established GP surgery in Halifax, working within their Same Day / Acute Care clinics. This is a steady block booking ideal for clinicians wanting consistent hours and a supportive environment. You’ll be assessing, diagnosing, treating, and prescribing for patients presenting with same‑day and acute conditions. You'll work autonomously but also as part of a friendly, collaborative practice team.

• Provide high-quality same-day and acute patient assessments
• Diagnose and manage a range of acute presentations
• Prescribe independently
• Work closely with GP and nurses
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Deliver safe, evidence-based care
• Contribute to smooth daily flow within acute clinics

• Qualified ACP, ANP and advanced Paramedic
• Independent Prescriber
• Experience working in GP or primary care settings
• Confident managing acute, undifferentiated presentations
• Comfortable working autonomously

• Registered healthcare professional (e.g., Nurse, Paramedic, etc.)
• Current professional registration with the relevant governing body (NMC, HCPC, etc.)
• Masters level qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice (or working towards it).
• Independent Prescriber
