Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing ABA team. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children and adolescents diagnosed with autism and related developmental needs, under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
As an RBT, you will play a vital role in helping clients build communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based ABA strategies. We are looking for individuals who are patient, motivated, and passionate about making a meaningful impact while growing professionally within the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Responsibilities- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by a supervising BCBA
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in a home setting
- Collect accurate data on client behaviors and progress during sessions
- Support the development of communication, social, and daily living skills
- Maintain timely and accurate session notes and documentation
- Collaborate with BCBAs, case coordinators, and families to ensure consistency of care
- Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working with children in any of the following roles:
- Paraprofessional / DSP / Teacher or Teacher Assistant
- Special Education Classroom Aide
- Early Childhood Educator or Preschool Teacher
- Daycare or Childcare Provider
- Camp Counselor or Youth Program Staff
- Behavioral Health Technician or Mental Health Aide
- Strong communication and professionalism
- Reliable, patient, and able to follow treatment plans with fidelity
- Ability to work independently while receiving structured supervision
- 6 months-1 year experience in ABA, behavioral health, education, or childcare
- Experience delivering in-home services
- Familiarity with data collection and behavior tracking
- Competitive hourly pay (based on experience and certification)
