Job Duties- Administer occupational therapy treatment programs as developed and specified.
- Prepare clients and deliver treatments, perform OT evaluations and re‑certifications.
- Develop OT treatment plans and make necessary modifications.
- Monitor and maintain adaptive equipment.
- Document client status in accordance with Federal, State and Facility guidelines.
- Knowledge of occupational therapy and developmental disabilities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Professional interaction with clients, staff, families and community personnel.
- Proficiency in computer application software.
- Ability to lead and coordinate work of the rehab department and cross‑functional departments.
- Completion of a Bachelors Degree in occupational therapy from an accredited education program and must be licensed or eligible to practice in Virginia as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience with neurologically involved, developmentally disabled patients is beneficial.
- Previous professional occupational therapy experience in a long‑term care or adult geriatric setting preferred.
