• Ensure quality of care and regulatory compliance by overseeing and directing all levels of nursing staff.
• Implement the nursing process—assessment, case management, diagnosis, planning, goal setting, implementation, and evaluation—according to MDH licensing.
• Meet with clients and families to complete admission paperwork, explain home‑care plans, and participate in care conferences as needed.
• Monitor client funding sources, obtain prior authorizations, and coordinate billing with the Prior Authorization Department.
• Supervise documentation of client and staff information in accordance with agency policy.
• Delegate nursing functions in line with state licensure and agency policies, maintaining compliance with county, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in agency‑wide activities and continuous quality improvement initiatives, evaluating program excellence and implementing process improvements.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Executive Director or Regional Manager of Operations.
• Market health‑care services to potential clients and families, supporting marketing strategies to ensure financial stability through maximum census.
• Build and maintain relationships with third parties such as county social workers, hospital discharge planners, and other community providers.

• Participate in the annual clinical budgeting process.
• Work with the Executive Director to develop innovative approaches to cost management.

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota. Public Health Nurse Certificate and a bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Minimum five years of nursing experience, preferably in assisted living and/or home health care. Prior supervisory/management experience required.

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per year
