The Old Dominion EMS Alliance is seeking a full-time Regional Field Coordinator to serve as a key liaison between ODEMSA and EMS agencies, hospitals, and regional partners throughout Central Virginia. This role supports regional planning, stakeholder engagement, committee coordination, and EMS system development initiatives to strengthen collaboration and service delivery across the region.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, experience in prehospital care, and the ability to work collaboratively with EMS providers, hospital personnel, and community partners. This position requires regular travel within the region and occasional evening or weekend work.
Certification as an EMT, Advanced EMT, Intermediate EMT, or Paramedic and a minimum of five years of prehospital EMS experience are required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort working with databases and web-based platforms are expected, with State Education Coordinator certification preferred or the willingness to obtain it.
