Mammography Technologist at Essentia Health
Base pay range$29.00/hr - $39.00/hr
Job Description- Responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to patients of all ages for diagnostic, therapeutic procedures, and/or research purposes using advanced computer-assisted digital imaging systems.
- The technologist assists radiologists with interventional biopsy procedures.
- Independent operation of radiographic equipment and provision of high quality diagnostic images to the radiologist and referring physicians.
- Graduate of an Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Radiography program
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Mammography certification required within 24 months of hire if not currently certified
