Location:

Inova Physical Therapy, Mt. Vernon, 8101 Hinson Rd. Alexandria, Va.

Full‑time position, Monday‑Friday, with two late evenings per week until 7:00pm. 1x1 patient service model and extensive mentorship in a close, team‑oriented culture. Patients include adults (orthopaedic), pelvic floor, and geriatric cases.

• Document evaluation results clearly and completely, including all essential elements per department policy.
• Complete daily progress notes reflecting patient responses, performance, and assessment status relevant to the treatment plan, including eventual discharge needs and summaries.
• Complete discharge notes summarizing the course of treatment, progress toward goals, discharge needs, recommendations for follow‑up, and patient/family education.
• Document clearly, concisely and legibly within established time frames to facilitate continued treatment, payer interpretation, and reimbursement.
• Document evidence of patient and family/caregiver education.
• Contact families, physicians or other healthcare team members in anticipation of special needs to facilitate effective treatment plans.

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (Masters preferred)
• Virginia Physical Therapist license in good standing
• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association upon start
