CFC has a need for an Associate Vice President, Capital Markets who will be responsible for assisting with the management of CFC’s syndicated loan portfolio for members by originating, structuring, distributing and executing syndicated loan transactions in the loan markets. This position works closely with CFC’s members and various financial institutions acting as a conduit and delivers optimal financing solutions from loan markets to members as well as debt and loan market intelligence to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Lead loan syndication transactions for members including the production of presentation materials such as pitch books and term sheets.
- Partner with internal and external counsels to negotiate credit documents.
- Create and present periodic loan market and capital markets updates to members.
- Collaborate with internal groups to determine marketing strategies for loan syndications.
- Provide ad-hoc research and analysis on various financial topics for internal and external use.
- Maintain return models and prepare return analysis for loans with non-standard pricing.
- Assist with development of junior analysts.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance is required.
- 4 years of experience in working in financial institutions such as banks and finance companies.
- Completion of bank credit training program preferred.
- CFA designation is a plus
- Advanced financial reporting and analysis skills.
- Strong understanding of financial institutions and debt and loan capital markets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong research and presentation skills.
- Advanced understanding of complex financial and credit transactions.
- Strong MS Office Skills.
- Ability to use standard office equipment.
