Senior Corporate Counsel; Capital Markets

A high-growth fintech platform is seeking a Senior Counsel – Capital Markets to support the continued scaling of its consumer lending and financing operations. This is a high-impact role for a commercially minded lawyer who wants to operate close to the business and help shape deal and legal infrastructure from an early stage.

You will play a central role supporting loan purchase and sale activity, financing arrangements, and broader corporate matters, working closely with senior stakeholders across capital markets, finance, risk, operations, and compliance. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and execution-focused.

• Support capital markets transactions, including loan purchase and sale arrangements and structured financing facilities
• Advise on diligence, asset representations and warranties, and servicing considerations
• Partner cross-functionally to close transactions efficiently and responsibly
• Support equity fundraising activity, including investor diligence and document negotiation
• Provide general corporate legal support, including governance and commercial contracts
• Contribute to templates, playbooks, and process improvements as the platform scales

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and admitted in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Experience in capital markets or structured finance involving consumer or small‑business credit assets
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with a practical, business-oriented mindset
• Comfortable operating in lean, early‑stage or growth environments
• Familiarity with consumer lending regulatory frameworks is advantageous
