• Drive business growth by actively building and nurturing relationships with key referral partners like realtors, financial advisors, and CPAs.
• Expertly manage the full loan application process, including borrower intake, financial analysis, and pre-qualification to determine affordability.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by counseling prospective borrowers on the home-buying and financing process, detailing various loan products, and explaining payment structures and closing costs.
• Proactively collect all necessary financial documents and provide required disclosures to ensure a complete and compliant application.
• Maintain exceptional communication with the borrower, realtors, and lender from application to closing, ensuring a smooth and timely transaction.

• Must have appropriate state license or certificate (varies by state).
• Thorough knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurance companies.
• Working knowledge of credit underwriting and property eligibility requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, local bonding programs and private investors.
• Familiar with local, state and national laws (e.g. zoning ordinances, Truth-in Lending, RESPA, energy audit requirements, etc.)
• Must be a sales-oriented self-starter.
