Job Summary

Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division has an open opportunity within Caterpillar Switchgear as an Advanced Electrical Services Representative. The Advanced Electrical Services Representative will manage dealers’ relationships to market company products and services and assist in the development of dealer sales capability.

What You Will Do
  • Partner with dealer’s Product Support Managers and Product Support Sales Reps (PSSRs) to influence end‑user and engineering resources to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Understand the business model and act within the business process guidance on review and approval for variance programs and commercial actions.
  • Provide guidance and direction to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Design and assist dealers with forecasting, sales strategy planning, and sales techniques, supporting the rollout of new products.
  • Perform regular sales performance reviews with dealers and ensure implementation of corrective actions where needed.
  • Present products or services for stakeholders, answer customer questions, and address their needs.

    Understand the organization’s industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
