Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team at Good Air. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control systems for HVAC solutions. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering high-quality ventilation systems that meet client needs.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor installation progress and system readiness
- Identify and address safety concerns during site visits
- Perform site inspections to verify work quality, installation compliance, and adherence to design specifications
- Identify site challenges, deficiencies, or coordination issues and provide solutions
- Attend trade coordination meetings with general contractors, consultants, and other trades
- Generate detailed reports on site conditions, project progress, deficiencies, and action items
- Ensure work activities comply with company safety policies and site safety requirements
- Document and report safety hazards, incidents, and corrective actions
- Promote a strong safety culture across all project sites
- Coordinate with project managers, mechanical teams, and field technicians to ensure smooth project execution
- Optimize system performance for energy efficiency and occupant comfort
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications
