• Construction project management and oversight of construction related activities for new builds or general capital projects, including ownership of project scope, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Direct interface with construction general contractors during the bidding, award, execution, and project closeout phases.
• Conduct negotiations with general contractors and evaluate bids/proposals with detail and accuracy.
• Create construction project scope and request for proposals.
• Perform financial analysis of construction projects.
• Manage construction projects for initiatives aimed at increasing the resiliency of data centers.
• Conduct constructability reviews of electrical and mechanical designs associated with new data center construction or optimization of existing data centers.
• Manage construction documentation, including submittal review, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
• Ensure construction project quality control.
• Record and report key construction metrics to team members and management.
• Drive teams to perform troubleshooting and root‑cause failure analysis of equipment failures.
• Lead within the group and support internal and external teams that support the data center.
• Read and interpret construction specifications and drawings for all disciplines.
• Define data center system‑level architecture, specify/document performance and equipment requirements, create and communicate conceptual designs, and maintain project documentation.
• Possess experience with large‑scale technical operations or large‑scale compute farms.
• Understand building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA.
• Experience in controls and commissioning of large‑scale projects.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
• Hold certifications such as Professional Engineer (PE), LEED, and/or Certified Construction Manager (CCM).

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of construction management experience on large, complex projects involving large‑scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) plants.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
• Direct experience in the design or construction of data centers or critical infrastructure or large‑scale mechanical and electrical plants.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.

• Experience in construction management of large, complex projects involving large‑scale MEP plants.
• Knowledge of critical data center equipment.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA.
• Experience in project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings for all domains.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
