Hiring:
Electrical Engineer – Switchgear Design
Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Second Shift)
Duration: 12 Months
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support switch gear design and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical design for switch gear systems, hands‑on experience with AutoCAD Electrical, and working knowledge of UL 891 standards. This role will support second‑shift manufacturing and engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for switch gear systems
- Create, modify, and maintain electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical
- Ensure designs comply with UL 891 and other applicable industry standards
- Support manufacturing, assembly, and testing of switch gear products
- Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams
- Review and update engineering documentation, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Provide engineering support for troubleshooting, testing, and production issues
- Ensure designs meet safety, performance, and customer requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical
- Hands‑on experience with switch gear design
- Solid working knowledge of UL 891 standards
