MMRP Project Manager

Description

Leidos is seeking an experienced Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) Project Manager to join our munitions response and environmental restoration consulting team.

Mission

As an MMRP Project Manager, you will primarily manage federal munitions response projects with oversight and mentoring from Leidos senior project managers. The scope includes CERCLA investigations, feasibility studies, remedial design, and execution focused on munitions/unexploded ordnance (UXO) in terrestrial and underwater environments.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate CERCLA remedial investigations, including short and long field efforts.
  • Define requirements and support preparation of project management work plans and technical deliverables.
  • Procure, select, and oversee subcontractors that support Leidos prime contracts.
  • Prepare and present project findings to clients, regulatory agencies, and the public.
  • Navigate and communicate with multiple stakeholders with competing or conflicting requirements.
Potential Growth
  • Manage and execute large fixed-price or cost-plus programs within Leidos’ execution framework.
  • Define project requirements and lead multidisciplinary task teams.
  • Develop exit strategies for complex technical and regulatory issues.
  • Lead proposal development, including technical solutions and risk management.
What Sets You Apart
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 6+ years of experience managing federal/DoD MMRP or environmental projects.
  • Professional certification (PE, PG, PMP) or progress toward certification.
  • Demonstrated success managing field efforts under CERCLA.
  • Willing and able to travel to project locations.
Also Desired
  • Experience managing both terrestrial and underwater MMRP projects under CERCLA.
  • Experience with EM61-MK2 standard sensors and advanced geophysical classification (AGC) data.

Must possess a valid driver's license and pass government background checks to access and work on U.S. Government installations. Due to contract requirements, only U.S. Citizens and U.S. Permanent Residents will be considered.
