We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Civil Engineering department. The ideal candidate will possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license and have over three years of experience in the field, with a strong foundation in civil engineering principles. Proficiency in CADD and Civil 3D software is essential.

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Utilize CADD, Civil 3D, and related software to create detailed drawings, layouts, and models for stormwater drainage, erosion and sediment control, land development, and utilities design projects.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals for site development projects.
• Conduct site investigations and assessments to gather necessary data for the design process.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements, progress, and design solutions.
• Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license with 3+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in CADD, Civil 3D, and hydrology modeling software.
• Experience in stormwater drainage design, DEQ regulations, and erosion control regulations.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Attention to detail.

• Experience in land development and civil design.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Drafting skills.

This position requires working five days a week, Monday through Friday, for 40 hours. Approximately 50-75% of work is conducted in Henrico. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrico, VA.

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $62.50/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
