We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to help lead $7M–$15M+ heavy civil construction projects from start-up through closeout. This is a true field operations leadership role, not a desk-based position. The APM is responsible for jobsite execution, including safety, quality, schedule, cost control, subcontractor performance, and client delivery, with direct exposure to full Project Manager responsibilities in active construction environments.

• Manage budget, schedule, cost control, and labor productivity
• Lead daily coordination with Superintendents & subcontractors
• Approve pay apps, invoices, and field costs
• Enforce OSHA & company safety programs
• Interface with clients, inspectors, and regulatory agencies
• Act as Project Manager when required

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related
• 2–5+ years as a Project Engineer or APM
• Experience on $7M+ construction projects
• Strong background in:
• Cost control & billing
• Subcontractor management
• Ability to travel nationwide on rotation

• Infrastructure
• Waterfront, dock, drydock, or structural concrete projects
