Job Summary To support our extraordinary team who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an
** EH&S Engineer/Specialist
** located in
** Henrico Virginia**.This position will report to the
** Site EH&S Manager
** while developing a strong cooperative relationship with the Plant leadership team. The
** EHS Engineer/Specialis
** t will establish and maintain an effective system of communication within the organization, developing effective working relationships with the safety committee, department managers, plant manager, and employees.

* Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or related field required; relevant experience may be substituted for education.
* At least 7+ years of occupational health and safety experience in an industrial environment required, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
* Prior certification in AED, First Aid/CPR, and OSHA standards preferred
* Specific program experience i.e. Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Machine Safety, Risk Assessments (JHA, JSA, RA), Electrical Safety, Confined Space, Emergency Preparedness, Ergonomics, PPE, Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and Arial Work Platforms (AWP), Hearing Conservation, Working at Heights, Incident Analysis (Fishbone, 5-Why)
* Ability to work effectively with othersJJ
