Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an
** Electrical Design Engineer
** located in
** Henrico, VA.
** Reporting to the
** Director of Engineering,
** the
** Electrical Design Engineer
** must work closely with sales, project managers, procurement, production, quality assurance and other engineers, and analyze feedback from customers to produce product designs. You must be an adept problem solver, have an excellent eye for design, and be willing to work as part of a team. You will communicate and coordinate among different types of engineers working on a project while adhering to project schedule and budget.
** What a typical day looks like:
**** The experience we’re looking to add to our team,
*** Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering with 5-6 years’ electrical design experience, preferably with critical power distribution, switch gear, etc.
* Knowledge of UL 891 Switchboards, UL 1558 Metal-Enclosed Low-Voltage Power Circuit Breaker Switchgear, UL 67 Panel boards, UL 857 Busway, UL 1008 Transfer Switch Equipment, UL 62368/60950 Information Technology Equipment, as applicable is preferred.
* Candidates must be able to understand electrical system diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and be able to perform troubleshooting in accordance with Test Engineer/Shift Test Engineer documentation when required.
* Demonstrated proficiency in or with programs similar to AutoCAD Electrical and various MS Office applications.
* Excellent organizational skills, attention-to-detail, and multitasking capability.
