Project Manager - Green Hydrogen - Virginia - 12 Months Contract
Job Overview

TGRC is on the lookout for a proficient Project Manager to lead a pioneering Green Hydrogen project in Virginia. This role is a 12-month contract with a competitive hourly wage between $60 and $80, depending on experience. It represents a unique opportunity to contribute to the renewable energy landscape, ensuring sustainable development and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership
    :
    Spearhead all phases of the Green Hydrogen project, from planning through to successful execution and final wrap-up, ensuring that project objectives are met within the stipulated timelines.

  • Resource Management
    :
    Efficiently manage both human and material resources to optimize productivity and maintain budgetary constraints.

  • Stakeholder Communication
    :
    Act as the primary communication point for all project stakeholders, ensuring clear, timely, and effective communication regarding project status and adjustments.

  • Safety and Compliance
    :
    Strictly enforce compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. Ensure that all project personnel possess necessary H&S certifications and follow best practice guidelines.

  • Environmental Stewardship
    :
    Oversee project operations with an eye toward environmental impact, ensuring all activities meet or exceed environmental standards.

Qualifications
  • Experience
    : A minimum of 2 years in project management, with direct experience in construction, pipelines, or chemical construction environments. Prior involvement in renewable energy projects, especially Green Hydrogen, is an advantage.

  • Education
    :
    Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.

  • Certifications
    :
    Must hold all relevant Health & Safety tickets.

  • Skills
    :
    Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Proficiency in project management software and tools is required.

Compensation

The project offers an hourly rate of $60-$80, reflective of the candidate’s experience and qualifications. This contract role is not only a career opportunity but also a chance to be part of a significant shift towards sustainable energy solutions.
