We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Commercial Field Specialist. This position supports C&I Demand Response programs; the candidate must live in and drive throughout the Virginia utility territory. You will act as a local on-site program and company representative to small business and commercial customers. You will install energy-efficient equipment, conduct energy efficiency (re) audits, pre- and post-installation verifications, and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory.

You will support Account Managers in their efforts to influence stakeholders, to sell and/or install energy efficiency retrofits, or new construction. You will provide technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. You will troubleshoot technical problems and issues, and recommend solutions.

• Train field staff and develop training materials and guidelines on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and energy audits of complex and large-scale commercial buildings. Complete on-site verifications and electronic review of field data entered into the program database.
• Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning, and effectiveness of products. Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues.

• 4-8 years of relevant industry experience
• Associates Degree with relevant industry technical certification/training preferred
• 21+ with a clean valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle to travel through defined territory

Target Compensation: $56,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

Compensation Range: $55,700.00 - $83,500.00
