We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Senior Commercial Field Specialist. You will support C&I Demand Response programs; the candidate must live in and drive throughout the Virginia utility territory. You will act as local on-site program and company representative to small business and commercial customers. Responsibilities include installing energy-efficient equipment, conducting energy efficiency (re) audits, pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory.

You will support Account Managers in their efforts to influence stakeholders, to sell and/or install energy efficiency retrofits, or new construction. You will provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. You will troubleshoot technical problems and issues, and recommend solutions.

• Trains field staff and develops training materials and guidelines on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and energy audits of complex and large-scale commercial buildings. Complete on-site verifications and electronic review of field data entered into program database.
• Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products. Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues.

• 8+ years of experience
• High school or Associates Degree with relevant industry technical certification/training preferred
• 21+ with a clean valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle to travel through defined territory

Target Compensation: $63,000 - $85,000 depending on experience.

This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver’s license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
