Overview

Teacher Active are proud to be working with a large number of secondary schools across Halifax. We are actively recruiting for Cover Supervisors to support our school network with quality and consistent staff.

Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in schools, whether on a day-to-day, long-term or permanent basis. The role of a Cover Supervisor doesn’t include planning and preparation; however, strong communication and classroom management skills are a must.

• Support classroom supervision on a day-to-day, long-term or permanent basis.
• Demonstrate strong communication and effective classroom management.
• Be flexible to work across different departments and age ranges as required.

• CACHE Level 2/3 or 6 months of relevant experience.
• Confident in managing a class of students aged 11 to 16+.
• Ability to manage behaviour to keep students engaged.

• A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to assist with onboarding.

Our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, ensuring the correct level of Tax and National Insurance are paid with no admin charges deducted from pay.
