The Trainer will support City IT initiatives by designing and delivering training programs and knowledge transfer activities to ensure effective adoption of systems, processes, and technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deliver IT training programs for City staff
- Create training materials, user guides, manuals, and reference documentation
- Conduct instructor‑led, virtual, or hands‑on training sessions
- Support end‑user adoption of new systems, tools, and processes
- Assess training needs and tailor content to different user groups
- Provide post‑training support and knowledge transfer
- Coordinate training schedules with City departments and project teams
- 7–10+ years of IT training or instructional experience
- Experience supporting enterprise or government IT initiatives preferred
- Training facilitation and adult learning techniques
- Documentation and instructional design
- Communication and presentation skills
- Training, instructional design, or change management certifications
