The Lead Guide is responsible for cultivating a peaceful, engaging Montessori classroom that supports independence, curiosity, and joyful learning. You will work alongside experienced assistants and administration that trust educators, value communication, and prioritize sustainability in this work.
Qualifications- AMS (or AMI)
Early Childhood credential - Previous experience as a Lead Guide in a Montessori classroom
- Strong classroom leadership grounded in observation and respect for the child
- Collaborative, communicative, and reflective professional style
- Commitment to Montessori principles and child-centered education
- Monday–Thursday schedule (4-day work week)
- 11-month calendar with built-in long weekends
- Supportive, responsive administration that values educator voice
- A close-knit team culture rooted in trust, collaboration, and shared purpose
- A balanced, well-rounded environment that honors both children and educators
