The assistant coach supports the head coach in all aspects of the school's sports program, including coordinating high-level practice sessions and providing exceptional leadership and coaching for student-athletes during regional and state competitions. The assistant coach will support and facilitate the management of the team's fundraising efforts, play a role in ensuring the safe travel of student-athletes to and from games and competitions, and maintain the highest standards of sportsmanship and teamwork.

• Assists in the general supervision of all cheering activities
• Assists in the purchase of supplies, accessories, and uniforms
• Assists in ordering fundraising/spirit-boosting materials
• Assists with planning and presentation of pep assemblies
• Assists with counseling and disciplining cheerleaders
• Assists in organizing and supervising cheerleader tryouts
• Assists in supervising fundraising activities for summer camp and other cheering activities
• Assists in organizing and supervising practice sessions
• Assists in maintaining appropriate, required financial and scholastic records
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Demonstrated ability to support management program through previous experience as a coach or player.
• Previous coaching experience, knowledge of the sport, and current understanding of coaching techniques and strategies.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes.

Minimum Salary - $2,550.11/year. The stipend amount stated above is based on the  adopted financial plan. The annual salary, for the  school year, will be determined once the  school year financial plan is approved and adopted in the Spring of 2025.
