We are looking for a passionate and experienced Assistant School Director to lead our dedicated team at Celebree School of Dulles at Arcola
, ensuring full compliance with all state licensing requirements and maintaining the highest standards in health, safety, and early childhood education.
- Lead by example to create a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment
- Provide coaching, performance reviews, and mentoring to support staff growth and morale
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and assist with recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts
- Ensure adherence to Virginia state licensing requirements
, health regulations, and internal safety protocols - Monitor training and certification status of all staff and maintain up-to-date records
- Conduct classroom visits and internal reviews to ensure consistent program quality
- Assist with day-to-day school operations including scheduling, enrollment, communication, and facility upkeep
- Implement and maintain school policies that support a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
- Collaborate closely with the school owner, school director and regional team to meet operational goals
- Cultivate strong relationships with parents through clear communication and a responsive, solutions-based approach
- Represent the school professionally in parent meetings, school tours, and local events
- Ensure parent feedback is addressed promptly and thoughtfully
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education
, Child Development
, or a closely related field - Minimum of 2 to 3 years of leadership experience in a licensed early childhood program
- Knowledge of Virginia state licensing regulations and early education best practices
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
- A deep passion for early education and a commitment to high standards of care and learning
