Overview

The Department of Family Medicine (FM) at the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Medicine seeks applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor role—UVA Family Medicine, multiple locations. We will fill four vacancies.

The successful candidate(s) will work as a Family Medicine physician at one of our Family Medicine practices. The incumbent will be responsible for direct patient care and occasional precepting 8 outpatient sessions per week; the position may include teaching and supervision of residents and medical students.

Qualified candidates must have an MD or DO and be board-certified or board-eligible by either the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians by the start date. Preference will be given to candidates who have robust and broad scope patient care experience.
