Overview
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia Children's Hospital invites applications for faculty with established or early research programs. The position is open to individuals with M.D., D.O., Ph.D., or equivalent degrees eligible for appointment to the University of Virginia faculty. The position is for tenure or non-tenure tracks, and can be appointed at the professor, associate professor, or assistant professor level.
Research must be applicable to pediatric diseases but may be basic, clinical or translational in nature. Investigators with Cancer Research Programs and Biotechnology Research Programs are encouraged to apply (examples include, but are not limited to: vaccine, drug, therapeutic, and device development, bioengineering, biomanufacturing). All research fields applicable to pediatric disease and/or health will be considered. Laboratory and non-laboratory research programs are eligible.
Rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications.
