Description

The Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia is seeking applicants for a Child Neurologist at the Assistant Professor rank. The successful candidate will participate in caring for children with neurological disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

To be considered for this tenure-eligible position, candidates must have a strong interest in academic medicine and demonstrate scholarship and excellence in two domains aligned with the requirements for tenure in the School of Medicine.

Candidates must hold an MD, MD/PhD, DO, or equivalent terminal degree, and be board-certified or eligible in Neurology with special qualifications in child neurology lowship training in a related field is strongly preferred. Evidence of academic productivity is highly valued.
