Job SummaryWe are currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Lube Technician to join our Heavy Civil team in our Dinwiddie VA facilities. This position will support our Field Service Center and VA projects primarily as well as others in the Mid-Atlantic.

This is a safety‑sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction.
This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.
- Must have a CDL B to drive the equipment utilized in the role
- Experience working on construction sites
- Experience driving commercial vehicles such as water trucks
- Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Inspecting and lubricating heavy construction equipment in shop and at construction job sites.
- Set up, adjust and maintain assigned equipment
- Make preventative maintenance checks and inspections
- Repair equipment
- Valid Driver's license
- Min. CDL B required
- Test repaired equipment to insure operating efficiency.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds from ground level to waist level.
- Continuous standing and walking required throughout a scheduled work shift.
- Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands
- Must be able to climb ladders and/or steps on equipment to access areas to be repaired.
- Must be able to bend, squat, kneel and crawl.
- Must be able to work in dirty, greasy, noisy, cold, hot and humid working conditions.
- Required to have acceptable corrected vision (in both eyes) and acceptable corrected hearing
- Must have the ability to reach, lift and perform work above shoulder height‑and the ability to work on uneven surfaces and confined spaces.
