Electrical Superintendent

MXI Partners are recruiting for an Electrical Superintendent for a leading general contractor and design/build firm specializing in data center construction
. With various high-impact projects across Data Center Alley and the DMV, our client is one of the most established, fastest-growing contractors of its kind.

• Plan and organize project activities to ensure labor, materials, tools, and equipment are available and aligned with scope, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Maintain a strong focus on jobsite safety, actively enforcing safety standards and working to achieve incident‑free operations.
• Work closely with client representatives and internal teams to follow site‑specific access, security, and safety requirements.
• Ensure that field personnel are informed of design updates, requests for information, and documentation changes, maintaining consistent communication across all parties.
• Coordinate required inspections in accordance with applicable regulations and facilitate final approvals upon project completion.
• Maintain routine documentation of site progress, conditions, workforce levels, and daily activities.
• Partner with operational leadership and field leads to keep projects advancing efficiently.
• Oversee completion of outstanding items and support final closeout activities.
• Develop advance planning schedules and prepare lists of required materials and tools to support upcoming work.
• Provide direct oversight of field staff and subcontracted trades, ensuring expectations for quality, cost control, and timelines are met.
• Support workforce development by assisting with hiring, onboarding, training, and fostering a positive and safety‑focused work environment.
• Monitor individual performance, provide coaching, and contribute to ongoing professional growth.

• 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent, leading electrical crews on highly complex data center and other mission‑critical projects;
• Demonstrated experience in electrical construction, with 2+ years of experience focusing on data center ground‑up construction or fit‑outs.
• Willingness to travel across the DMV.
