Job Overview

Super Structures GC INC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations across a diverse range of construction projects. This hybrid role requires both on-site leadership and strategic coordination from our main office. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience supervising construction sites, with deep knowledge of metal building systems, a strong safety record, and excellent communication skills.

As Superintendent, you will play a critical role in ensuring our projects are executed safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily on‑site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, field staff, and suppliers to ensure seamless workflow and timely execution.
  • Anticipate issues or challenges two weeks ahead.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA‑compliant jobsite at all times; fill out JSA daily.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for field‑related questions and issues.
  • Monitor construction progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve field challenges, including delays, supply issues, or technical conflicts.
  • Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety protocols in alignment with company standards and regulations.
  • Ensure quality control on all deliverables through daily inspections and detailed reporting.
  • Assist with project closeout, including punch lists, final inspections, and turnover documentation.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in construction field supervision or related roles.
  • Proven track record managing crews and subcontractors on commercial and residential job sites.
  • Knowledge and hands‑on experience with metal building systems strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Proficient in field management software, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
  • Safety certification required (OSHA 30 preferred).
  • Ability to travel to job sites as needed and manage hybrid work responsibilities.
  • Procore or other Project Management software understanding.

Work Location

Hybrid role with a mix of on‑site supervision and office coordination. Must be able to travel to active project sites as required.

Must be able to lift 50lb.

Must be able to walk up 3 flights of steps.
