Overview
Our client, a large consulting firm, is seeking a temporary Procurement Specialist to support their team for at least 6-months!
Position Details- Procurement Specialist (6‑Month Contract)
- Hybrid - Crystal City, VA
- $38-$43 per hour
- 37.5-hour work week
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle from requisition through purchase order, pricing, and contract coordination
- Conduct sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management activities
- Support contract negotiations and ensure compliance with internal procurement policies
- Process pricing, invoicing, and purchasing transactions in Coupa
- Maintain vendor relationships and monitor performance
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely acquisition of goods and services
- Bachelor s degree required
- Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on procurement experience
- Strong understanding of sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management best practices
- Experience with Coupa (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Hybrid: 4 days onsite per week (Crystal City Metro area)
- 37.5‑hour work week
- Contract duration: 6 months
