Marketplace Operations Manager

Overview

Join our team at the exciting crossroads of cloud computing, AI and private funds. As a Marketplace Operations Manager, you’ll lead our operations and report directly to the Founder and Chief Investment Officer. This role involves close collaboration with Amazon’s sales teams and leveraging advanced AI technologies to optimize economic and performance outcomes. You’ll work alongside top-tier professionals, including our Managing Partner and teams in product management, technical development, and marketing.

We need a proactive leader with experience in developing marketplaces and a solid understanding of cloud technologies, supply chains, and artificial intelligence. While familiarity with the financial services sector is a plus, it’s not mandatory. You should be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong sense of ownership and drive.

• Develop cost-effective resource models by analyzing marketplace data.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with senior management and suppliers.
• Identify and capitalize on performance improvement opportunities.
• Propose innovative, cost-saving measures and solutions.
• Enhance the integration of resource planning and operational management.
• Adapt to varying tasks and demonstrate flexibility in management and perspective.
• Support and improve various cross-departmental processes and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3-5 years in business development, consulting, or operating marketplaces.
• Proficiency in using analytical tools to challenge assumptions and improve operations.
• Experience in distribution or wholesale industries is beneficial.
• Skilled in creating and managing reports, maintaining APIs, and monitoring performance metrics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage strategic and tactical challenges.
• Experience in global contact center operations.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and superior communication abilities.

• MBA or similar advanced degree.
• Experience with software development practices and data infrastructure.
• Practical skills in Python and SQL.
• Deep knowledge of the wholesale and distribution sectors.
• Experience in e-commerce and familiarity with online retail environments.
• Fluent in English, with additional language skills advantageous.
• Relevant technical certifications, such as AWS.
