Library Clerk

Overview

• Assist in the organization and labeling of library collections in a temporary capacity.
• Work on-site in a library environment, ensuring accurate labeling and categorization.
• Engage in a collaborative team setting with other associates to meet project goals.
• Perform tasks during standard working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Contribute to the successful completion of a temporary project starting March 2nd.
• Gain experience in library operations and collection management processes.

• Label and organize library materials according to established guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in the labeling process to maintain collection integrity.
• Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete assigned tasks.
• Report progress and any challenges encountered during the project to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to facilitate effective operations.
• Adhere to library policies and procedures while performing duties.

• High School Diploma or GED required for eligibility.
• Entry-level position; no prior experience necessary but preferred.
• Ability to work on-site during standard hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate labeling.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
• Capability to follow instructions and adhere to established procedures.
