This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment. The successful candidate will manage deferred revenue processes, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, ad hoc reporting, audits, fixed assets, construction in progress (CIP) schedules, month‑end close, payroll accruals, and ASC‑606 compliance. Familiarity with billing, collections, ERP systems, and software such as Sage Intacct and Oracle is highly desirable.

A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required, and experience with Epicor is a plus.

Job Details

This role is a permanent position in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment within the healthcare industry. The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting duties, including deferred revenue processes, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, ad hoc reporting, audits, fixed assets, construction in progress (CIP) schedules, month‑end close, payroll accruals, GAAP compliance, and implementing ASC‑606 compliant revenue. ERP system expertise, particularly with Sage Intacct and Oracle, is a significant advantage.

A bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least five years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare, are required.

Responsibilities

Oversee deferred revenue processes and revenue recognition in compliance with GAAP and ASC‑606.

Manage accounts receivable, billing, and collections to ensure timely and accurate payments.

Prepare ad hoc reports and conduct audits as required.

Maintain fixed assets and construction in progress (CIP) schedules.

Coordinate month‑end closing processes and prepare financial statements.

Manage payroll accruals and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

Implement and maintain ASC‑606 compliant revenue processes.

Assist in the maintenance and optimization of ERP systems.

Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.

Collaborate with other team members to improve financial processes and systems.

Qualifications

Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.

Have a minimum of five years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the healthcare industry.

Possess extensive knowledge of GAAP and ASC‑606, and experience with deferred revenue processes and revenue recognition.

Have proven experience with accounts receivable, billing, and collections.

Be proficient in using ERP systems; experience with Sage Intacct and Oracle is highly desirable.

Have experience with Epicor (not mandatory).

Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to prepare clear, concise financial reports.

Be detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Be a self‑starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
